Noise disturbances from upstairs!!! !!! Outdated furniture and decor could use a serious refresh!!!

We stayed one night at the Stratford Inn to see a play at the Shakespeare festival. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had charming wood decor including wood floors instead of carpeting. It's conveniently located just a 10-minute walk to downtown Ashland's restaurants and theaters.

Did not use other amenities or breakfast offered.

I appreciated the staff's friendliness throughout my stay, especially during breakfast. They offered a nice variety of food options, including steel-cut oatmeal and fresh fruit, which were both delicious. However, the in-room coffee left much to be desired. it lacked strength and flavor. The hotel’s location makes getting to downtown Ashland a breeze, which I loved, but the walls seemed a bit thin. I could hear noise from the hall and neighboring rooms occasionally. Overall, my time at the Stratford Inn was enjoyable, but a few tweaks could really enhance the experience.

Breakfast included healthy options like steel-cut oatmeal and fresh fruit. There's a cute coffee shop on-site that serves pastries and organic coffee. Great location for exploring Ashland!
